The Bushcraft Duo

The Bushcraft Duo

This is a recent addition to my EDC gear for those times when you need the capabilities of a small axe to prevent using a good knife blade for something other than its intended purpose.

The combination of a good fixed blade knife and a small axe will be a good cutting combination.
You can read about this pocket axe here:

Looking at this knife/hatchet combo, believe it or not.., I can taste venison!

Along other lines: I have dispatched seven North Vietnamese Regulars in hand-to-hand with a standard GI woodhandled set of hatchets. I used to carry two, crisscrossed behind my back. Rule of thumb, is to carry a peanut, and a folding pocket knife of any design, and then, the fixed blade. All three will permit versatility, provided you include a small pocket honing stone to keep all cutlery sharp and safe.

Wow great looking tools you have there. Your definitely prepped for any type of hunting or survival. I've bookmarked the post to read later on.
